A 65-year-old woman presented with:
Mild haematemesis (vomiting blood)
Epigastric pain
🔬 She was referred to Geetanjali Multispeciality Hospital, Wai for diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
Diagnosis: Bleeding Gastric Polyp Identified
OGDscopy (Upper GI Endoscopy) revealed:
A 1cm sessile gastric polyp
Active bleeding point identified on the polyp
🧪 A biopsy was taken to rule out malignancy.
📸 CT Abdomen confirmed absence of any neoplastic or infiltrative pathology.
🧾 Histopathology report confirmed the polyp to be benign.
